On Saturday, December 18, President Duterte personally visited the areas affected by typhoon ‘Odette’ to see the condition of our fellow Filipino in Siargao; Surigao City; Maasin, Southern Leyte; and Dinagat Islands, some of the areas severely damaged by typhoon Odette.

Senator Bong Go was also involved in the aerial inspection conducted by the President to preview the damage caused by the typhoon in the said typhoon-affected areas. According to the Senator, many have been stranded so the government continues to coordinate with some volunteers and rescuers to immediately meet the needs in the provinces devastated by the typhoon.

Tatay Digong and Kuya Bong Go also assured our countrymen that the government is always ready to help especially in their time of need, and it will continue to find ways to overcome any challenges we face as a people.
